Meet Hollie Hauptly

Hello! I’m Hollie Hauptly! I have been a birth professional since 2010, serving women and families in a variety of roles. I first became a doula and soon after became a childbirth educator. I have absolutely loved my time with Birth Boot Camp and I am so excited to continue to grow as I am now an instructor trainer as well.

I’ve always had a passion for learning and teaching. I’ve been told that I am a natural born teacher. I have experience in a multitude of different teaching positions before I was bit by the “birth bug” when I had an amazing birth with my 1st son. Ever since then, my passion has been pregnancy, birth, babies, and breastfeeding. I love seeing those lightbulb moments while in a class filled with couples that are actively preparing for their upcoming birth. I love seeing them gain confidence and become excited for their upcoming birth. I’ve been so fulfilled with this work that I want to help and encourage others to become amazing instructors who will be instrumental in preparing women and couples for birth.

I’m married to Lawrence and we have four awesome kids! We currently reside near Salt Lake City, UT. In my spare time you’ll find me reading, cooking, listening to podcasts, and having game nights with friends!

Meet Cheryl Amelang

Hi, I’m Cheryl, mama of six littles, wife to a super cool dude, Birth Boot Camp Instructor, Instructor Trainer, and homeschool mama. I have been passionate about birth and education since my first baby was born in 2004. I wanted everyone to know how amazing birth could be. I began teaching classes in 2011 and certified with Birth Boot Camp in 2014.  I love helping couples prepare for their amazing birth. It is so rewarding watching their confidence and excitement grow as the classes progress.

My husband, John, and I have been married for 19 years, we have four boys and two girls who were all born at home with the help of wonderful midwives and doulas. In addition to teaching (expecting couples and my own children!) you can find me drinking coffee, playing board games, organizing something, and sorting laundry. Life is pretty sweet (except the laundry part. *wink*)

You can find Cheryl at www.DarlingBirth.com.
