It’s January and we all love a good bowl of soup during the cold, winter months. This is a favorite of everyone that tries it!
4 large potatoes
2/3 c butter
2/3 c flour
6 c milk
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 1/2 c shredded cheddar cheese
12 slices bacon
4 green onions
8 oz cream cheese
- Bake the potatoes and let cool. Scoop out the center and set aside.
- Melt the butter and add the flour until smooth.
- Add milk, stirring constantly until thick, about 20 minutes.
- Add the remaining ingredients and heat on low until hot.
Additional toppings if desired- cheese, green onions, bacon, sour cream, etc.
