Birth Boot Camp is thrilled to announce that we have 2 new Doula Trainers! Janet Farmer and Klarisa Kelley have now finished their training and will be holding Doula Training workshops in 2020.

Hi I’m Klarisa. I have a passion for getting families off to a great start, no matter how they envision that start. I am a Birth Boot Camp Instructor, Doula, and Doula Trainer.
I have been serving families in various capacities since 2008, first as a breastfeeding peer counselor through WIC, and then as a doula, childbirth educator, and midwifery assistant. I am currently going to nursing school, with the end goal of becoming a Certified Nurse Midwife.
My 7 wild and wonderful children keep me busy. My first three were born at the hospital, the fourth at home in my bedroom, and the last 3 in the hospital again because they were premature.
I serve doula clients in southeast Idaho (Rexburg, Rigby, Idaho Falls, Blackfoot, and Pocatello), and I also teach breastfeeding, cloth diapering, and emergency childbirth classes.

Hi, my name is Janet Farmer and I am a Birth Boot Camp Instructor, Doula, and Doula Trainer. It has been my pleasure to walk alongside families as their Birth Doula for over 25 years. I’m not sure which I love more, being an Instructor or a Doula, but they both make my heart sing. Becoming a Trainer for up and coming doulas was a long-term dream of mine and I am honored to be a part of the Birth Boot Camp family!
My passion for all things birth and babies began as it does for many in this field, through my own birth experiences. My first birth was a medicated, induction in the hospital and the last two were natural births at an out of hospital birthing center with a midwife. I am a mother to 3 amazing adult children and 10 fabulous grandchildren! Helping families find their confidence and clear the fear and confusion that often surrounds birth is especially exciting and a big part of why I do this work.
I have a quaint, small gathering place in downtown Lake Wales, FL where I hold classes, trainings, and support groups for breastfeeding and postpartum moms. I love to travel, so I hope to do some Doula trainings out of state when the opportunity arises, but for now, I hope to see you in a future workshop in Florida!
