How to Become a Birth Boot Camp Birth Doula
The registration form will take approximately 10 minutes. When choosing which workshop you would like to attend, keep in mind that the reading, movies, study modules, etc. are to be completed before your workshop. You will leave your workshop certified and ready to serve clients!
Payment
Early Bird Price – Pay $695 ($230 certification fee and $465 training fee) All fees due 3 months prior to the workshop.
Regular Price – Pay $795 ($280 certification fee and $515 training fee) All fees due 30 days prior to the workshop.
There are two payments that will need to be made.
1) The Certification Fee is paid to Birth Boot Camp during your registration to begin the program.
2) The Training Fee is paid separately to the Doula Trainer who will be conducting the workshop you choose to attend.
Paperwork
After completing the registration form and paying your certification fee, you will receive an email with a few documents to sign including our Policies & Procedures, Photo Release, Code of Conduct, Scope of Practice, and Non Compete Agreement. Please let us know if you have any questions about these.
Training Requirements/Study Modules
After completing your registration you will receive access to our online portal where you’ll find your modules as well as the Comprehensive Childbirth Class. You will receive an email with a username and password to log-in and complete your modules. Keep in mind that all of the modules must be complete before your in-person training.

Module 2 – Movies
Module 3 – Childbirth Education
Watch Birth Boot Camp’s online Comprehensive Childbirth Class and answer the questions in the Childbirth Education document. You will be given access to the Comprehensive Class as part of your training.
Module 4 – Breastfeeding
Watch the Breastfeeding Intensive for Birth Professionals Video, included in your training, and download the Breastfeeding document to record your notes.
Module 5 – Breastfeeding Support Groups
Attend two breastfeeding support groups in your community.
Module 6 – Bloodborne Pathogens
Complete one of the below bloodborne pathogen trainings, pass their test, and purchase the certification.

Due to Covid-19, what should I do about the required birth observations?
Covid-19 has made it difficult for trainees to attend their required birth observations. We are being very lenient about this requirement. We still want you to reach out to those in your community to try and find births to attend. Keep in contact with your trainer and let her know how things are going with this requirement.
