About Me
I first became passionate about pregnancy and birthing when I was casually scrolling through Netflix one day and came across "The Business of Being Born". I knew that we would be starting a family soon and I was so thankful that I watched this documentary and had my eyes opened to what birth looked like in our society versus what it should be like. When I found out I was pregnant a few months later, I did all that I could to prepare myself for my pregnancy and birth. I read tons of books, did a lot of late night research, and was part of many birthing groups on Facebook. I knew I wanted to have an unmedicated birth and experience it in it's full capacity. I was so grateful for the wonderful birth team I had that helped me achieve this birth in a hospital setting. I knew after birthing my baby girl that I wanted to share this wealth of knowledge with other couples and help them see that birth doesn't have to be this horrific event but that it can be beautiful and empowering!
