While Spring is the time of year where nature bears the most fruit, Fall was certainly a fruitful time for many new doulas! We are so thrilled for our recent trainees and know they are going to do AMAZING things all across the country!
Birth Boot Camp DOULA Training Fall Re-Cap!
Hollie Hauptly held an incredible doula training in Salt Lake City, UT where she resides with her growing family. She will be hosting Doula Workshops in Idaho and Salt Lake in 2019. It’s never too soon to get registered and start working on your pre-certification requirements – you can totally start working on the reading list ahead of time. You can see ALL of the Certification Requirements HERE!
” My instructor, Hollie Bagby Hauptly, was phenomenal!! She brought experience, humor and wonderful resources to our table. When I left, I felt confident in my knowledge and abilities. However, the thing that I have loved the most is that I feel like I acquired a network of women who support and learn from one another. That is irreplaceable for me!” Doula Trainee, Daelyn Kingston
The Fall brought another Birth Boot Camp DOULA Training to Houston, Texas. Hailie Wolfe traveled from Abilene just for the occasion! Her favorite part of the workshop was getting to spend time with Trainees over the lunch break. At Birth Boot Camp, we understand that we work in an industry that is based on relationships. Our Trainers LOVE getting to know each individual trainee.
In addition to the Houston Workshop, Hailie also held our first Remote Doula Training online in October – a huge success!
If you are interested in attending a workshop with Hailie, she will be in San Antonio, Abilene, and Dallas in 2019. There will also be a Remote Training held in the late Spring.

Birth Boot Camp Doula Training Workshops include hands on labor rehearsal and comfort measure practice!
Last, but certainly not least, Jillian Freeland held a training in Rainbow City, Alabama. She recently moved to the area with her family and she is highly motivated to bring better childbirth education and support to the state! Her Trainees have incredible things to say about her!
“Not only do I feel fully prepared to be a doula because of her, I also feel fully supported by her. Because of the trust we built over training weekend, I can (and already have!) come to her with any question without fear of feeling silly. I know I will be a better doula because of the support system that BBC is built on.” Doula Trainee, Bryn Koger
“I love how the training workshop is held at the end of our certification process. After completing the pre-certification requirements, we all arrived with the same knowledge, and being on the same page allowed for in-depth discussions while truly solidifying the information that will support our work in the birth world.” Doula Trainee, Paige Monti

A little fun and silliness at Doula Training in Alabama while working on labor positions using the peanut ball.
Jillian will be teaching several Doula Workshops in 2019 – Look out Guam, Alabama, Virginia and North Carolina!
Are you interested in becoming a DOULA? We would love to see you at one of our many workshops hosted across the country.
